One morning last fall, I was standing on the side of Wasatch Boulevard, painting the view down the road. When the sun rose, kissing the top of the mountain and lighting up the scrub oak. I quickly grabbed another sheet of paper and painted this instead. I love the way the sun lights up the tree, adding light and life and hope to the world.
