My goal in painting is to inspire interest in the story behind my paintings. I give much thought to the titles I choose. Once my image progresses to the point of having a personality, I want to embellish the viewers experience by introducing a name to which they can identify. "The Plot Thickens" seemed to work well, as I see this young woman having perhaps, a self-satisfying moment, gazing at the others present. I use both transparent and opaque watercolor.
